Nothing. That’s all about to change. By far the best discovery this week, this vulture is now circling.

A few things you need to know: Karin Park is a Swedish singer who has previously had success in Norway with her album and single Superworldunknown which won a Norwegian Grammy for “Best Newcomer” and was also nominated as “the best Norwegian song of all time”. Pretty amazing, right?

She is not afraid to show her face and her unique vocal stylings remind of Karin Dreijer (The Knife, Fever Ray).

In 2010 she signed a deal with the label State Of The Eye, based in Portsmouth, England, where she continued to develop her alternative beat driven, industrial pop electronica. In 2011 she took a number of her new songs to the producer Christoffer Berg (who’s produced for The Knife and Fever Ray) and the first result of this collaboration is the single ”Tiger Dreams”, which was released in August 2011.
