Solange will never be quite as famous as Beyonce, but she’s always been the more interesting of the two (case in point: she’s done a duet with Grizzly Bear). Currently signed to Terrible Records (which is co-run by Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor), she’s been hard at work on her 3rd studio album the past year.

Her new album will be a New Wave-inspired dance record, with Chromeo, Midnight Juggernauts, Pharrel & Blood Orange on production duties. I think you’ll agree this all sounds very exciting indeed.

The first single ‘Losing You’ was co-written and produced by Blood Orange and is accompanied by a really beautiful clip filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. If this is a taste of what’s to come, then it’s time we start getting excited, as this song is so pretty I can’t even take it.
