Krazy Baldhead is back with a new single, ‘Surabaya Girl’.
The track is the first cut to be taken off his forthcoming album which is due for release in April via Ed Banger.
Check out the video below. Thoughts?
Strap in – the new Justice video is going to take you on a ride. On’N'On, the latest single from last year’s Audio Video Disco, is a brain-melting intergalactic road trip around Galaxy Justice.
It features shots of naked woman, exposed internal organs, multi-colored clouds of smoke and light, asteroid belts of massive skulls, a man with slightly more than 1,000 faces, and a giant sword.
The single is released January 30th via Ed Banger and features remixes by Brodinski, Erol Alkan, Rick Rubin, Tiga and Video Village.
Until then you can check out the trippy Alexandre Courtes-directed video below.
Probably as much as I do, but 2012 is going to change that. Maaike Kito is a 22-year-old dubstep artist/producer from Perth, Australia (no idea where that is..), who currently resides in London.
She’s been releasing music on Skream‘s Disfigured Dubz label since 2009. She’s often compared to Katy B and her sound has been described as a deep and poetic take on dubstep.
Earlier this year saw the release of a 4-track EP with vocalist Reija Lee, entitled Sweet Talk, on Diplo‘s Mad Decent label. She also did a sweet little remix of Beyonce‘s Run The World (Girls). Not long after, she caught the attention of the Ed Banger crew and got invited to play with them on a few dates.
If the rumors are to be believed, she’s been in the studio with Feadz, producing a new record and will have a single coming out early in the new year. All very exciting indeed – especially with Ed Banger behind her.
Anyway, keep your eyes on Kito, “like” her Facebook page, etc. and while you’re at it, check out this nice little video of her single On The Jam, which came out earlier this year.
So, that up there is the artwork to the new Justice single, On ‘n’ On. They posted it on their Facebook page and apparently a few of their “fans” complained to Facebook about it and made them remove it. What the hell?
Who are these nerds who call themselves “fans”? Seriously, they can go fuck themselves. That piece of art was created by Surface To Air and it kicks ass.
On ‘n’ On is out February 27th via Ed Banger/Because Music and will feature remixes by Rick Rubin, Brodinski and Video Village. The package will also include Canon remixes by Erol Alkan and Tiga.
The Justice boys are also set to embark on a UK tour in February. These are the dates below:

9 Bristol Academy

Stade 2 is out now on Ed Banger Records
Besides releasing crazy electro on Ed Banger, the man behind Flat Beat/Flat Eric Mr. Oizo (aka Quentin Dupieux) is also a director. If you’ve heard of or seen Rubber, you’ll know that his films are just as mental as his music.
Rubber, released in 2010, is an absurdist thriller about a tire that comes to life and embarks on a killing spree in a Californian desert, killing people by vibrating intensely and psycho-kinetically causing their heads to explode. There was also Steak, released in 2007. Not that I know what that one was about or of anyone who’ve actually seen it, but it’s got a killer soundtrack featuring Mr. Oizo himself & Sebastien Tellier.
Next year will see the release of his next film, Wrong. A teaser has just been released, stating it will debut at Sundance in 2012. In competition. That’s a pretty big deal, right? The film stars Jack Plotnick – who played a psychologist with a foot fetish on one of my favorite tv shows ever, Lovespring International.
Whether it will be good or not, you can bet the soundtrack is going to kick ass.
Watch the teaser for it below. Music by Mr. Oizo & Tahiti Boy.
