We here at midnitevulture love us some Monarchy. Their album Around The Sun has enjoyed many a repeated play and we have tried VERY HARD to learn these amazing dance moves in this video. (To no success, we might add)

Tonight they DJed for the lovely and classy Ms Ditta von Teese at the opening of Contreau Club at a private member’s bar in London. To coincide with this, they created and dedicated a very nice little mixtape to her.

Video O’clock: Monarchy

And now we have the video for Monarchy’s new single You Don’t Want To Dance With Me. As you guys will see, it has the Monarchy boys and Britt Love standing back to back with the camera moving around them. Throw in a few nifty edits and some costume changes and you have a video that was fairly cheap to make. Sometimes less is more. Nice.

New Single Alert: Monarchy

I’ve had the Monarchy album for almost a year before it was officially released and I’m still digging it. Glad to see these guys are finally getting the attention they deserve after all the label drama they had to go through trying to release the album.

(Drama = signing-with-big-label, single-not performing/selling-well-in-chart, artist-being-dropped)

You Don’t Want To Dance With Me is the next single and they got Britt Love to sing with them on the single version. Girl needs all the work she can get after leaving Mini Viva and recording a solo album. Very nice of Monarchy innit.
